Angela Peri

Angela Peri, CSA, is the founder and co-owner of Boston Casting. She is a member of the Casting Society of America (CSA) and the International Casting Directors Network (ICDN). Angela has cast thousands of feature films, television series, commercials, voice overs and reality television shows. Her most recent projects include the three-time Oscar winner, CODA, the Whitney Houston Biopic, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and the AMC series, Kevin Can F*** Himself. Angela is the winner of two Artios Awards from the Casting Society of America for Best Local Casting for CODA (2022) and Knives Out (2020), and has five Artios Award nominations for Joy, Ted, American Hustle, The Fighter, and The Proposal. Angela has also been nominated for a Semiramis Award for CODA by ICDN.


Lisa Lobel

Lisa Schwartz Lobel was born and raised outside of Boston, and earned a BA from the University of Hartford. She joined Boston Casting in 1995 and is a proud member of the Casting Society of America (CSA) as well as International Casting Directors Network (ICDN). In 2021, Lisa was nominated for an Artios Award by the Casting Society of America for Best Local Casting and a Semiramis Award for Excellence in Casting worldwide for Sound of Metal, a film that features an almost entirely deaf cast. Some of her most recent television casting work includes HBOMax’s Julia, Showtime’s Dexter: New Blood, and the Netflix teen series The Society. She was the local casting director on the Netflix thriller I Care A Lot, the feature film Free Guy , Newline’s 2022 take on Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot and on Alexander Payne’s latest film, The Holdovers.
