Christopher Demos-Brown
Christopher Demos-Brown is a playwright and screenwriter whose works include American Son, Captiva, Fear Up Harsh, Stripped, and Wrongful Death & Other Circus Acts. Christopher’s play, American Son, ran on Broadway and starred Kerry Washington. It was later adapted into a film that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and currently streams on Netflix. The film was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Best TV Movie.” Christopher and his wife, Stephanie, are Co-Founders of Zoetic Stage in Miami.
Awards & Accolades Include: Laurents/Hatcher Award, Steinberg Citation (American Theatre Critics Association), 3 Carbonells, inaugural Berkshire Theatre Award for “Outstanding New Work.”
