David Rambo
David Rambo is the author of the plays The Lady with All the Answers (Lortel Nomination), God’s Man in Texas, The Ice-Breaker, and The Confession of Henry Jekyll, M.D. David has also written an all-new book for Lerner and Loewe’s Paint Your Wagon, and the Cuban Missile Crisis drama The Tug of War. His work has been widely produced at theaters throughout the country, including the Old Globe, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Geffen Playhouse, Denver Center Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, and L.A. Theatre Works. David has adapted several classic screenplays for live performance, including All About Eve, Casablanca, Adam’s Rib, and Sunset Boulevard, which was produced at the Hollywood Bowl (with conductor John Mauceri). David’s television writer and producer credits include seven seasons on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the record-smashing premiere season of Empire, V, Revolution, Claws, Will, Tiny Pretty Things, and Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas. He holds an honorary doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina’s School of the Arts.
