Suzanne Chesney
Suzanne Chesney is a Brooklyn-based costume designer with two decades of experience in theatre and television. Soon after moving to New York, Suzanne found her artistic home at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, where she has designed numerous world premieres, including Anna Zeigler’s Photograph 51, Lucas Hnath’s Isaac’s Eye, and William Jackson Harper’s Travisville (dir. Steve Broadnax). Suzanne has a BA from UC Santa Barbara, and an MFA in Costume Design from Brandeis University. She was mentored by Jennifer von Mayrhauser, whom she worked with as an assistant designer during the final five seasons of Law & Order, Season 1 of Unforgettable (CBS), Broadway productions of Rabbit Hole, Third, Come Back Little Sheba, and many regional theatre productions. Suzanne is a member of USA 829.
